The trial is a vital part of the process. This is where I learn about you, what you like and don't like. How you do your make-up and hair, how you think you would like to look and of course what your day will be like, if you have a theme and what your dress looks like. During our initial chat I will build a picture of what you would like from your hair and make-up and this is how I begin to create the look for the day.
Alot of brides have very clear ideas about what they want however others may find it difficult to express how they would like to look. The trial will reassure you and help you decide on the right look for the day.
A good place to start is gathering pictures from magazines, even if you don't find a look that is right for you it will also help you work out things you don't like which is a very important part of the process. You may like pieces from many pictures so during the trial we can put all these pieces together to form your look.
Its also very important for me to understand you as a person, everyone is different and some people like lots of make-up where as others wear none. There is no right or wrong but my belief is that everyone should look like themselves just the best version they can be. So a little subtle enhancing here and there really can do wonders.
The trial should be fun and its advisable to book at least 6 weeks before the wedding so you can feel reassured that you will look perfect for the day. It usually takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Because I believe this is such an important part of the process the trial is included in my costs. However I require a deposit of £150.00 to confirm the booking. This will be deducted from the final balance. If you have a trial but decide not to go ahead with the booking I do charge for the trial and this would be £85.00
